In 1999, taking the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center project as an opportunity, Dr. Xie Shao Ming began to participate in the architectural design and project supervision activities of large-scale public construction projects in China. In this seminar, Dr. Xie will take the landmark public buildings in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as example, through the introduction of representative cases such as Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, Zhuhai Hengqin Poly Center, Xiaomeisha Aquarium (MGM Hotel), and the permanent venue of the Greater Bay Area Science Forum, with focus on sharing large-scale public construction projects in China Design bidding, international design cooperation, design method site suitability and other issues of interest to foreign companies, present a unique perspective for the participants to understand the current Chinese architectural design production system and construction practice.
