AAM Group Visit

Introduction:

"Security is the foundation of development, and stability is the prerequisite for prosperity." National security is the basic need for the development of the country and the people, so that the security and interests of the country and the people can be effectively guaranteed. The security of the Macao Special Administrative Region depends on the fundamental guarantee of national security. Every Macao resident has the responsibility and obligation to safeguard safety of the country. 15th April 2024 is the country's 9th "National Security Education Day". The Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region held the "National Security Education Exhibition" for the seventh consecutive time. With the theme of "Overall National Security Concept, 10th Anniversary of Innovation Leading", this exhibition is divided into five thematic parts, focusing on demonstrating that in the ten years since the overall national security concept was proposed, the level of modernization of national security systems and capabilities has been significantly improved, with new security pattern has effectively guaranteed the series of historic achievements achieved by the new development pattern. With the care and strong support of the central government, the Macao SAR government has continuously improved the legal system and enforcement mechanisms for safeguarding national security and promoted the implementation of the fundamental principle of "patriots governing Macao". Principle, actively integrate into the overall development of the country, and create a new situation in the successful implementation of "one country, two systems" in Macao.

This year, the SAR government and the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government jointly organized an essay contest and a short video contest with the theme of "Cyber ​​Security in My Heart". More than 22,000 students submitted articles to participate in the essay contest, and the number of participants reached a new high; the short video contest included the competition expanded from high school students last year to students from higher education institutions, and a total of more than 70 entries were received. Students understood and thought deeply about the importance of network security to national security in different ways and perspectives, and actively used their youth power to maintain network security.

The Architects Association of Macau (AAM) will organize a group to visit the 2024 "National Security Education Exhibition" and details are as follows:
