可持續性交通系統和交通便捷性就是關乎讓我們在擁擠的都市保持順暢流動，為當今快速城市化和城市可持續發展的關鍵議題。以公交引領城市發展為理念，科學地規劃和發展城市軌道交通基礎設施，才能為城市健康發展和可持續發展提供持久的動力，TOD成為現代化都市和新型城鎮化可持續發展的引擎。總結城市軌道TOD的成功經驗，楊文武博士將論述TOD發展理念對軌道交通賦予嶄新的定位，從傳統的交通基礎設施提升為城市能量的聚點，進而實現高品質城市生活的連廊。以香港地鐵和深圳TOD發展模式和實踐為案例，共同討論城市軌道交通TOD技術路徑和可持續發展方向。

Background:

Mobility is about keeping us moving in congested cities and it is a very crucial issue of rapid urbanization and urban sustainability. The sustainable urban development could only be energized by scientifically planning and developing comprehensive transport infrastructure on the concept of Transit Oriented Development. Urban rail TOD development would become a great engine for the urban modernization, new town development and ultimately the urban competitiveness. On the successful experience, Dr Morgan Yang will discuss on redefining urban rail by TOD concept, elevating focal points of urban energy from traditional transport, then implementing high quality urban living corridors. The TOD technology and the trend are further elaborated by presenting TOD practice and study cases in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
