Presenting Macao's unique world-class architectural cultural advantages and helping Macao's architecture better integrate into the overall development of the country

In the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", President Xi Jinping clarified Macao's positioning as "one center, one platform and one base", namely building a world tourism and leisure center, a business cooperation service platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and building an exchange and cooperation base with Chinese culture as the mainstream and multi-cultural coexistence. In addition to being a world center of tourism, entertainment and leisure, Macao also possesses the world's unique architectural essence of centuries-old Sino-Portuguese culture: after returning to the motherland, Macao has become the core platform of Portuguese-speaking culture, and through the promotion of the Belt and Road policy, it can actively integrate with contemporary architecture, continuously build a more landmark and entertainment-rich architectural comprehensive cultural complex.

In the context of the 75th birthday of the People's Republic of China and the warm celebration of the 25th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland, the Architects Association of Macau (AAM) has specially planned a 2 days and 1-night "Macau Architects' Greater Bay Area In-depth investigation and Learning Trip". Here, we warmly invite Macau Young architects conducted an in-depth investigation and learning of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, Nansha District of Guangzhou City and Nanshan District of Shenzhen City. The main purposes of this trip are as follows:

1.Through this trip, AAM will accelerate the construction of a system cooperation platform with relevant government agencies, allowing Macao architects to have a clearer and more specific understanding of the development opportunities and directions of the Greater Bay Area.

2. AAM will work with relevant government agencies to propose specific proposals for Macao. The unique advantages of Macao

architects' participation in development, such as the development of tourism complexes, also provide convenient conditions,

allowing Macao architects to be more fully equipped and more actively integrated into the overall development of the country.

3. Let Macao architects have a deeper understanding of major landmark projects and infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area. As a

statutory professional association, AAM unites architectural experts and people inside and outside the Guangdong-Hong Kong-

Macau Greater Bay Area to promote and disseminate Macao architectural culture and art, strengthen cooperation with the

mainland, promote international people-to-people and cultural exchanges, promote the construction of Macao's "one base", and in

this way enhance the feelings of family and country in Macao's cultural circles and actively integrate into the overall development of

the country.
